At the recent South African Museum Association (SAMA) National Conference, the Afrikaans Language Museum and Monument (ATM) was honoured with the 2019 Publication Design Award (Category B). The ATM’s communication officer, Sybrandus Adema, was responsible for the posters, and received the award on behalf of the institution during a gala dinner in Pietermaritzburg on 24 October. Below is the series of entries; the judges specifically highlighted the posters regarding Youth Day and Skerpskryf in Afrikaans competition.
