A photography workshop where participants will learn to take time-exposure photographs to record star trails will be presented at the Afrikaanse Taalmonument in Paarl on Saturday 18 February 2017.
This practical workshop by professional photographer and registered tour guide Peter Haarhoff, of the Cape Photographic Company, is suitable for beginner and intermediate photographers. A single lens reflex (SLR) camera (digital or 35mm), tripod and cable shutter release is essential. Participants will learn easy and proven ways to get good star trail photographs every time, including the best settings for photographing the Milky Way and how to use the BULB setting on your camera.
The workshop fee of R600 includes notes. The workshop is held from 18:00 to 22:30. A stargazing picnic is held on the same evening. Limited space is available and must be booked with Amira Clayton at tel. 021 863 0543/4809 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
