The Afrikaans Language Museum in Paarl boasts a new dress after the Department of Arts and Culture made funds available to paint the building. The new colours are historically correct, namely grey for the roof and green for specific woodwork. The woodwork at the front of the museum has been varnished and restored while the walls are painted with white lime as in the olden days. The building was last painted about 12 years ago, and the colours began to fade, but the stately lady now looks radiant again. Come view it for yourself and also see all the beautiful museum has to offer.
